Raphaël Varane
Founder
Of Martinican origin, he became a professional footballer at only 17 at RC Lens (2010) and then joined Real Madrid in 2011. In 2012, he took his first steps in the French national team and won the world cup in 2018. In summer 2021, he signed with Manchester United.
He is one of the most successful French football players ever. His desire is to get involved with young people and teach them the values of respect, humility, ambition and work, which define him.
Gaston Varane
Honorary president
Gaston is Raphaël’s father and the Honorary President of the Varane training courses. The love for football, work, respect and all of Raphaël’s values are no strangers to him! His role in the crew is to represent the philosophy of the Varane training courses.
Anthony Varane
President
Elder brother and manager of Raphaël, a lawyer specialising in sports law and president of the association, Anthony is involved in the concept and structuring of the project.Mathieu Duconseil
Sports manager
Former partner of Raphaël at the Lens training centre, Mathieu is an educator recognised for his involvement and management with young people from clubs in Douaisis and Cambresis, in northern France. Drawing on his background and experience alongside coach Daniel Leclercq, he develops the work sessions and coordinates the sporting department as technical director.
Michel Ettorre
Reference educator
Legendary goalkeeper of FC Metz – with 300+ matches in French league’s first division – Michel Ettorre is an important member of the coaching staff, both for his extensive experience and his sense of humour. He is also the former goal keeper coach of RC Lens, where he coached Mathieu and met Raphaël.
Patricia Leclercq
Executive assistant
Widow of Daniel Leclercq, passionate about football, formerly employed as an administrative secretary in a local authority, she joined the project as Executive Assistant in charge of secretarial duties.
